The KD-Series is the latest generation of solar modules from Kyocera for off-grid application. Extensive research work and continuous further development of the production process enable the Kyocera high-performance solar cells to achieve over 16% efficiency.

The compact dimensions as well as the sturdy performance makes the modules ideally suitable for stand-alone systems even in harsh environments. To protect the module against extreme weather conditions, the cells are embeddded between a reinforced glass covering and EVA foil, and are selaed with a PET foil backing.

The junction box on the module backside is equipped with bypass diodes that eliminate the risk of the individual solar cells overheating (hot spot effect).

The KD135GH-2PU module is shipped with a black anodised aluminium frame to harmonise with the dark color of the solar cells.
