  Since February 2004 all SMART 1000 Systems will be delivered in a new functional adapted design. Furthermore the SMART 1000 is now equipped with a battery type switch and a potentiometer arranged on the frontside for adjusting the AC inverter voltage in the range of 220 to 240V resp. 110 to 120V as already existing with the SMART 3000 / 4000 systems. Additional flat fuses for protection against unallowed high charging currents as well as a terminal for grounding are completing the system.
From now on, besides the SMART 1000 in 12V DC system performance, the SMART 1000 is also available in 24V system voltage, allowing increased charging currents for solar, wind and hydro. |

In future our product line will be extended and complemented by the battery generators SMART 5000 and 10000. These systems are based on a 96V DC system voltage and dispose on a continuous power of 5000W resp. 10000W. Furthermore they have built-in UPS and can be equipped -on request- with an ATS for automatic generator starts.
Now the SMART systems ranging from 1000 up to 10000 can be delivered in 3 performances:
- AC 220-240V / 50Hz
- AC 110-120V / 60Hz
- World version: AC 220-240V/110-120V and 50Hz/60Hz
Also new in our programm is the SMART 2000 based on a system voltage of 24V with a continuous power of 2200W and a surge power of 5000W. |

Mini Solar System SMART MS 300 |

 Following the world-wide request for a compact stationary low-cost solar home system, we have developed the SMART MS 300 consisting of a solar charge regulator, an integrated 300W DC/AC inverter and a 12V DC / 20A output. Disposing of an extreme low \"no load\" consumption (<3Ah per day), the inverter of the SMART MS 300 allows alternating current supply during 24hrs. The solar charge regulator is designed for a maximum of 30A charging current. Two battery banks can be connectd separately.

 Following the request of our customers, SMART POWERSYSTEMS supplemented its programme by the newly developped SMART 3000 and 4000 power systems.

SMART Systems for an expedition in the Amazon river area |

| With the beginning of the dry season in December 2002 a team of scientists intends to explore the Table Mountains in the catchment area of the Amazon river. During two months the team will have field trips through uninhabited areas using cameras to document the fact findings. To solve the problem of recharging the cameras in the wilderness our portable SMART power systems will provide the power needed. By our ultra light and laminated solar modules an instant charging can be comfortably guaranteed. |

 From October on, the SMART 1000 with true sine wave inverter will be available. The inverter disposes now of 1200W continuous power and up to 3300 peak power!
