AC Coupling for Stand-Alone Power Grids |

For power supply of grid remote rural settlements, holiday resorts or larger commercial/ private entities ( Hotels, Hospitals, Schools ) with generally higher power demand, a stable AC stand-alone grid with AC Coupling is an ideal solution for easy integration of power sources and electrical consumers in a combined AC grid. This avoids costly DC cabling of individuel power systems and provides great flexibility during installation.
SMA AG, Niestetal / Germany - a leading company in this sector - has developed special system components, which allows the setting up of large-scale stand-alone power grids based on AC-coupling. Cooperation between BadenSolar and SMART |

 Strategical partnership between BadenSolar (BS)/ Karlsruhe and SMART. Besides its Stand-Alone Power systems, SMART is extending the business activities in cooperation with BS also to Grid-Tie PV power plants (roof and farm power systems ). SMART will be focused on the business in oversee countries and BS predominantly on the European market.

 Member of the Bundestag, Mr. Patrick Meinhardt / FDP, has visited SMART POWERSYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL GmbH on 10th of January 2007. His interest was to get a first information about our SMART product line for "Rural Electrification" purposes. Mr. Meinhard is the "Bildungspolitischer Sprecher" of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) at the Bundestag and also chairman of the East-African Parliamentarian Group.

Energy Management for the SMART SWHBG Series |

 An intelligent power management provide the new SMART ATS extensions. These unit allow the prioritisation of the alternative charging systems like solar, wind or hydro when connected to the grid. That means that charging through grid will be activated only when the charging power of the alternative sources is not sufficient.
In addition the ATS units now dispose of an 24V DC outlet and are thus completing the performances of the SMART generators.
