The Aquair UW is a submersible propeller type hydro generator driven by a fast flowing stream of water. It produces up to 100W power of 12 or 24V DC for battery charging. The recommended operating range of the turbine is between 2.8m/s (1500Wh / day) and 4.2 m/s (2400Wh / day) flow velocity. The propeller has a 312mm diameter, so the water depth needs to be at least 400mm. The charging capacity of a single system should be enough to cover the daily energy demand of smaller household. Suitable charge controllers for 12 and 24V are available.

There are additional accessories optainable like a lift and lowering mechanism as well as a protection device for the propeller of the turbine against flotsam. You can also choose betwenn various propeller types for different flow measures and waters.
